About Me
My name is George Buckingham, I'm a web developer living in Southampton, Hampshire studying a Web Development Degree at Southampton Solent University. I have several years experience creating attractive, easy to use website's for clients using the latest 
technology. On this page you will find out a little more about me and my life.
I was born in Surrey in January, 1989 and lived in Staines before moving down to Mudeford in 2002 where I am currently living. In 2005 I completed my time at Highcliffe School and gained 9 GCSE's all at grade C or above. From here I moved on to spend two years at Brockenhurst College where I completed a BTEC National Diploma For IT Practioners, achieving a merit at the end of the course. I also completed CISCO CCNA Semester 1 and a Key Skills Communication course at level 3 during my time here.
After completing college I started full time employment at Maplin Electronics as a sales advisor before leaving to start a degree at university. Some of my duties here include helping customers with a range of electrical enquires by recommending products to solve their problems. Combined with my over 3 years experience serving customers whilst working for Sainsbury’s Supermarkets I am very experienced in dealing with a variety of customer queries.
I am very interested in technology and a lot of my free time is spent developing web sites. My favourite sport is kite landboarding, I enjoy practicing this sport as often as the weather allows. Some of my other interests also include cars and photography.
I am capable of and confident of working in a group of people or on my own. I have good time management skills and am always meeting deadlines that are set both in and out of work. I am a reliable and responsible person that is always looking for new challenges.
